Add a JaxCat seach box to your blog
- Log in to your Blogger account
- On your blog dashboard click on Layout
- Click on Page Elements
- In the page layout area, on the right-hand side, click on "add a page element"
- In the pop up window scroll down, choose HTML/JavaScript, click "add to blog"
- Copy the code from the following document completely and paste into the content area. Click here.
This is what it should look like (click image to see a bigger picture): - Click save.
- Save your blog template.
- Click View Blog at the top of your screen. You will have to refresh your page to see your JaxCat search box on your blog.
Alternate instructions:
- Go to the Google Gadgets JaxCat Search Page
- Adjust the width to 215
- Change the height to 275
- Click on "Get Code"
- Copy the code in the box that appears below the gadet.
- Log in to your blogger blog (if you haven't already done so)
- On your blog dashboard click on Layout
- Click on Page Elements
- In the page layout area, on the right-hand side, click on "add a page element"
- In the pop up window scroll down, choose HTML/JavaScript, click "add to blog"
- Paste the code from the google gadget into the content window (see image above)
- Click save
- Save your blog template.
- Click View Blog at the top of your screen. You will have to refresh your page to see your JaxCat search box on your blog.
More Fun:
If you have your own iGoogle page you can add the JaxCat gadet their as well.
- Log in to (or create) your iGoogle page
- Go to the Google Gadget JaxCat Seach page
- Click "add it now"
- Return to your iGoogle page. Your JaxCat search box will now be on your iGoogle page.
